One more post with some random pics.

Ok, I have updated my blog in a big way so I should be good for awhile right! Just thought I'd throw in a few random pics from the last few weeks.

Juliana learned to squint, she's so cute!

My birthday!

My gorgeous cake!

Madison's 1st time doing homework (dont worry it was optional LOL)

More snow pics...

The side of our house. That green blob is my greenhouse, which was destroyed in the winds of the 1st storm. Sad.
Pretty icicles

You can see how high the snow is piled on the bench to the left.

Christmas lights...

Our house is small, but Rich always does a good job making it look festive!
And yes those two little bumps in the snow are Madison and Juliana LOL.

The girls and I looking at the lights...

Snow, Snow, and more snow!!!

I feel like I went back in time to when I was a kid and we used to get massive amounts of snow every winter. Since I moved to western Wa, I usually see a little snow each winter, but not too much. Well, I feel like it has been snowing forever here. I think we have over a foot on the ground now, its crazy. Of course because this never happens, the city is totally unprepared and the roads are a nightmare. I had to put chains on my car to go to work last night.
Madison and Juliana love the snow. We've been pulling them up and down the road on sleds and they have a ball. Every time Juliana thinks we might be going outside, she brings us her snowpants, too cute! Madison learned to make snow angels and it's so fun to watch. Yesterday, Madison was out with Rich, and she said "I'm havinga hard time walking" Probably because the snow is up to her waist LOL.
Below are some pics...
Yum snow!
Help, I'm buried alive!

This is fun!

Check out this blog...

http://notashamedinfertility.blogspot.com/

This is the blog of a very strong woman named Donna. She is around 20 weeks pregnant with twins. Her water (around 1 twin) broke very early on in the pregnancy, and she is still going strong. The baby who's water broke will not make it, but the other baby is still going strong. Please pray for her and her babies, she just needs a few more weeks!

Prayers for Sofi...

Just taking a minute to ask for prayers for little Sofi. I belong to a message board on Ivillage for babies Juliana's age, and one of the little girls on there is in need of a heart transplant. Can you imagine your 14 month old needing a new heart. I can't imagine what her parents are going through. Another member of the board has created a special website just for Sofi. Please take time to visit and support her in any way you can, even if it's just a prayer.

Halloween...finally...

Well better late than never right! As you can see, my girls were a bumblebee and a flower. They looked very cute! 2 of Rich's grandparents are in a nursing home, and they put on a big thing for kids, so after making the rounds to the neighbors, we headed over there. A lot of the residents sat outside their rooms with candy so the kids could trick or treat, and that was really fun. There were also different activities like a cake walk, and a bean bag toss, and fishing over a wall to get a surprise. Madison refused to fish because the room was dark and there was a scary light up character by the wall. She kept saying "theres a scary thing in there" even the next day, poor thing. Here are some pics!!

Fall Fun...

Bad me, I haven't updated my blog in awhile. Not much new has been going on. Rich is done coaching cross country which is nice since he now gets home about 3 hrs earlier. Juliana started walking a few weeks ago and is now almost running. Too cute! She has also become a hitter so we are working on teaching her "gentle" LOL. Madison still loves preschool, and this month we started going to kindergym again, which she loves. Juliana and I also go to babygym while Madison is at preschool, and she loves it. The weather is still fairly nice around here, cold at night, but not so bad during the day. I'm enjoying it while it lasts. Here are a few pics from the end of Oct.

Harvesting the last of our garden!

Funny story...

I had to come on here and write this story out real quick. It just happened and I am still laughing about it. Madison was in the bathroom preparing to go potty. She's been having issues doing ANYTHING by herself lately, so she had her pants and panties off and was begging me to put her on the toilet. I was telling her no and asking if I needed to spank her buns, when Juliana, who was sitting behind Madison, reached out and spanked Madison's bare butt. All of us started laughing hysterically!
On a side note, Juliana is walking now which is so cute!

First shoes...

Juliana got her first shoes this past weekend. I don't think she was too thrilled, but hey she can't walk yet anyway. Soon...What she really likes is to put the shoes on her hands and crawl around like that LOL.

Madison's birthday party...

Madison's party was this past Sunday, so as promised here are some pics. She recieved a giant Dora doll from Rich's parents, and we got her (and Juliana) one of those big jeeps they can drive. Madison loved it and actually caught on to driving pretty quick! I do have to say I'm pretty proud of the cake I made her, although I think it could have been better if I'd have more time LOL.

A month of fun...

I posted the birthday pics, but have quite a few others to put up here from Sept.
Madison started preschool, there are a couple pics from that. The ones where she looks mad LOL. She is enjoying preschool and behaving herself, which is a relief.
The weather has been nice here so we have spent some time outdoors. The salmon are making their run up to the river where they spawn, so we have spent some time looking for them, looking over a bridge downtown. We havent really seen too many fish, but we did see some seals chowing down which was cool. Their are some pics of our gorgeous waterfront view.
There is a fountain downtown that people often play in when its warm, so I took Madison down there for the 1st time. She was hesitant at first, but then she got nailed by some water, and fell in love with it.
Last, for now, we went to the Puyallup fair. This fair is huge and tons of fun! Madison rode rides and had her picture taken with Dora and had tons of fun.

Birthdays!!

Juliana and Madison have both had their birthdays yay! Juliana is now 1 and Madison is 3. For Juliana's party we had a luau which went really well. She didnt seem overwhelmed at all which I am thankful for. Madison turned 3 this past Sunday, but we will not be having her party for a another week and a half. Here are some pics from each birthday. I'll post pics of Madison's party after its all done!

Well that wasn't any fun...

Today Juliana and I were in a minor car accident...really we just got rear ended, but when your baby is in the car, it's scary! We were stopped at a light, and the lady behind us wasn't paying close attention and she slammed right into us. Juliana just screamed, poor thing, and I cried. I took her to the doctor and luckily she is just fine! Fortunately our van wasn't damaged, at least not visibly, but I do have to take it in to get checked. Now I just have to hope that the insurance company will be easy to deal with!

Fun Fun Fun!!!

It has been a busy couple of weeks for us. I took a cake decorating class this month, finally! I learned a lot, you can see my stunning creations below LOL. The rainbow cake was my first, unfortunately before I could take a pic, Madison picked up the cake carrier, and tipped it a bit, so one side lost its frosting. I heard "mommy it's too heavy" LOL.

Last week we made a trip up to a nearby park and zoo, Point Defiance, which was a lot of fun. Madison loved looking at the animals, and playing in the kid's zone. When the zoo closed, Rich met his cross country kids for practice, while the girls and I played at the park.

I worked a lot of days this month, and while I have enjoyed that, I'm looking forward to working a little less for awhile. I hadn't done a delivery since April, and now I've done 4 in the last couple weeks, including my first set of twins, which was very exciting! It gave me enough of an adrenaline rush to last awhile for sure!

Juliana is busily cutting teeth. She got her first 2 four months ago, and I was starting to wonder if she had anymore, but she cut 3 in a row, and is working on 3 more. Her sleep is affected by this off and on I guess. She typically still wakes up at least once a night, but I know she will sleep through the night someday. She is standing really well on her own now, and it won't be long before she takes those first steps.

Madison starts pre-school on Thursday, which I think she'll enjoy. We had a visit to meet the teacher and see the classroom tonight, and though she was a bit standoffish with the teacher, she liked the toys in the room, and had a tantrum when it was time to leave. To be fair though, she didnt have a nap today because I was (finally) painting her room.

Rich starts back to work tomorrow, so it's back to our old routine!
