Today the excavator came and started tearing down the house. The kids, in-laws, and I watched for awhile (in the pouring rain). We had to take a break to drive Juliana to school, but I was lucky enough to get back just in time to see the house actually fall in on itself. It is a little sad, after all Juliana was born in that house, and it's where I brought Madison and Daniel home as newborns. But change is good right? Out with the old in with the new!
