So we finally made it to the Ocean yesterday yay! It was supposed to be hot here where we live, so we thought it'd be the perfect day to get out of town. We drove to Ocean Shores and had a great time. It was the first time either of the girls has been to the Ocean so I was excited to see Madison's reaction. She looked at the water and said "ooo hoo hoo!" Too funny! We spent a couple hours playing in the sand, building sand castles. Juliana enjoyed eating a large amount of sand, and Madison loved running around and rolling in the sand. We spent a while playing in the water too, jumping over the waves, which was a blast! Eventually Madison got cold and tired of the beach so we went over to the main area of town and walked thru some shops. It was such a nice day, when we first got there, there was still a cloud cover but it burned off by about 2pm. Someone told us that the cloud cover hasn't been burning off til 5-6 pm, so we got lucky. It was a really fun day!
