This was a couple weeks ago, I know I know I need to catch up on my blogging.
Anyway, for Christmas, Madison got a tackle box full of art supplies, including some packages of wiggly eyes. Apparently she opened them without us knowing...and...
She had gone to bed, and was quiet until suddenly she screamed bloody murder. I went in and she said "my nose, my nose" I figured it out right away, and of course when I looked in her nose I saw this wedged in there.
I have no idea what posessed her to stick that in her nose, except that her nose was stuffy and had really been bothering her. So Rich and I held her down on the bed, and attempted to get it out with tweezers, but she had stuck it in there so far, that that was impossible. So guess where I got to go at 9:30 at night? Yep that's right the ER. The first thing the ER doc did was try to get her to blow her nose. Like I didnt think of that! She can't do it, she doesnt get how to blow her nose! Anyway, they got it out with these skinny tweezer things that unfortunately are all too familar to me. Madison was very good during the whole thing. She even got a stuffed bunny.
Too bad we had to go to the ER to get it out but hey it makes a good story.
For those of you who dont know or dont remember, this is not the first time Madison has stuck something up her nose, it is the 4TH TIME! She stuck rocks in her nose 3 times in 1 month when she was about 20months old. That was super fun. At least all those times the pediatricians office was open. Oh well...Here's another pic to put the size of the wiggly eye in perspective

OMG! That's hysterical and scary. Grace is asking me right now why I'm laughing but I won't tell her--I don't want to give her any ideas! :) She put soybeans in her nose a few times, but they are bigger so we were able to get them out with tweezers.
