Where we're at today...

It's been awhile since I updated, but in my defense it was slow going between the demolition of the old house, and laying the foundation for the new one. The excavator made a mistake with our pad, so they had to come back and fix it, which obviously set us back a bit. BUT - We're making quick progress now! Here are the latest pics...

Lots of progress is being made now! We should be looking at painting within the next few weeks. Lets hope the weather cooperates, it's cold and rainy right now...

House Demo: Day 2

Today the excavator came and started tearing down the house. The kids, in-laws, and I watched for awhile (in the pouring rain). We had to take a break to drive Juliana to school, but I was lucky enough to get back just in time to see the house actually fall in on itself. It is a little sad, after all Juliana was born in that house, and it's where I brought Madison and Daniel home as newborns. But change is good right? Out with the old in with the new! Check out this short video. Daniel thought it was a dinosaur eating the house!

3 years later...

So almost 3 years later and I'm finally getting around to updating the blog. Pretty sad I know, but my life is pretty busy, do that's my defense!
Madison is now 7 1/2 and in 1st grade. I'm not really sure how that happened, but there it is. She's doing great in school, reading at a second grade level, learning math and all that.

Juliana is 5 1/2 and almost done with preschool. She's a very smart and compassionate girl She'll be in kindergarten next year, I can't believe it!

Daniel will be 3 in July, and continues to be a very big boy. He is and pretty much always has been in the 95th percentile for height, that comes from his dad's side of the family! We have plans to send him to preschool this fall (100% completion of potty training pending).

Rich still works at Gig Harbor HS, although he is no longer coaching. He found that it was just taking up too much time, so much to my happiness, he quit right before Daniel turned 1.

I'm still working my labor and delivery job, and I still love it. There have been a lot of changes, not all of them good, but overall it's still a good place to be.

Shortly after Daniel turned 1, we moved out of our tiny 888 sq ft house. We didnt go far though, just next door, into the house where Rich's grandmas used to live. It was really nice to move into a house with more space! We've been here almost 2 years, but we won't be here too much longer because....

We are building a house!! We started the process the 1st of the year, and finally a week ago, we got our permits approved. Demolition of the old house started today, once that's done, the property will be excavated and prepped, and then construction will begin! You can see our house plan here: http://www.adairhomes.com/homes/plan/2512 We did make a few changes so it won't look exactly like the photo, but you get the idea. I'm hoping to blog throughout the process, so we'll see how that goes. For now here are a few pics of the kiddos, and a few pics of the beginning of our house project.

The baby is here!!!

It's a boy!
Daniel Richard Frazier arrived July 11th at 4:01 am.
My extreme discomfort at the end of this pregnancy would be explained first when my water broke and there was a huge amount of fluid, and second by this:
9lbs 7oz!
Almost 2 lbs bigger than his sisters!
I got my second vbac which I am so glad about!
He decided to make his delivery dramatic at the end by having the cord wrapped tight 2 times around his neck AND having a hand up by his face, but all turned out well and I'll get to writing the birth story later.
He's now a week old and we're doing great. He's nursing good and gaining weight. According to our scale at home, he weighs around 9lb 13oz now, although I think this is probably inflated a little. I'm doing good, still sore but feeling better each day.
Here are some pics:

Approaching the finish line...

Just thought I'd better come on here and do a quick update, since it's been 6 weeks! I'm a very bad blogger. I am now 36 weeks pregnant, just a few more weeks to go! Yesterday we had professional maternity/family photos taken so I will post them when I get the proofs back. I'm very glad I finally did professional pics, even though the girls were not super cooperative. They were better than I expected though.
I'm feeling pretty decent, tired at times, and my back hurts but going to the chiropractor helps a lot with that. Everybody keeps telling me there's no way I'll make it to July, but I figure that probably means that I will and the baby will be overdue. Which is okay...I guess :-)
Madison is all done with preschool, so we are just hanging out, playing outside a lot, and finishing getting ready for the baby.

30 weeks!

Madison's haircut

29 weeks

Okay well, I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow but close enough. 2 weeks ago I did some routine bloodwork, and the results were all normal, so things continue to be good in pregnancy land. Our biggest news is that we have decided to forgo the plans for a home birth this time around, and have the baby at the hospital where I work at. This was a really difficult decision, and it was made for a lot of reasons. But I'm glad it's made and I'm looking forward to having this baby among my coworkers, who I really do love! It will be different but it'll work out. Just tell the baby not to come July 4th, or else my chosen coworkers will be otherwise occupied (or under the influence LOL).
The girls are doing great! The weather here has been typical western Wa weather, rain then sun, and so on. We have been able to get outside a decent amount of time, which is good since it really wears the girls out.
Madison will be done with preschool at the end of May, then it's on to summer activities. One will be a week long camp at the church where preschool is held, and then after that, not too sure what she will do.
Juliana is quite adorable, singing and jumping are 2 of her favorite things. She recently had a growth spurt, and just when I thought she was going to have to move to size 3T pants, her 2Ts are now falling off her! She's becoming tall and skinny like her sister. They do not get that from me!
Earlier this week, I gave both girls a much needed haircut. I ended up cutting Madison's a little shorter than I had intended. I think it's super cute, but she was not too thrilled with me, oops!

94 days to go...

Or so my pregnancy ticker says. I am now 26 weeks pregnant, and we have 3 months to go. I'm feeling okay, just typical pregnancy complaints, nothing horrible. My parents visited last weekend and although my mom thinks I'm smaller than I was at this time with Juliana, she is wrong, and I have the pics to prove it! However, I'm not going to post a comparison because that would make me look really huge lol. There is nothing major here to report, which in pregnancy is a good thing. :-)
